How PropertySG collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal data.

1. Who we are

PropertySG is a Singapore-based property advisory service licensed under the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA). Registration number: R009618D. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to PropertySG.

2. Personal data we collect

When you interact with us, we may collect:

• Contact details — name, mobile number, email address.
• Property details — property type (HDB/Condo/Landed/Commercial), intent (sell/rent/buy/valuation), address or area if you share it.
• Communication records — messages exchanged via WhatsApp, email, phone calls and consultation notes.
• Technical data — basic web analytics such as browser type, device, referring page. We do not use invasive tracking cookies.

3. How we use your data

The purposes for which we may use your personal data, in and outside Singapore, include:

• Responding to your enquiry and scheduling a consultation.
• Providing valuation, pricing and advisory services, and carrying out our obligations arising from any contract between you and us.
• With your separate consent, preparing and publishing listings on property portals on your behalf.
• Sending you relevant updates about your transaction.
• Ensuring that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and your device.
• Providing alerts, newsletters, educational materials or other information you have requested or signed up for.
• Allowing you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so.
• Designing and conducting surveys or questionnaires for client profiling and segmentation, statistical analysis, and improving or furthering the provision of our products and services.
• Researching, designing and launching services or products — including seminars, events and forums.
• Promoting and marketing services and products, subject to your exercise of the opt-out right.
• Complying with laws and regulations applicable to us or any of our affiliates in or outside Singapore, including CEA record-keeping obligations.
• Legal proceedings, including collecting overdue amounts and seeking professional advice.
• Any purposes directly related or incidental to the above.

You may withdraw consent or opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer (see Section 11).

4. Disclosure to third parties

We only share your data with third parties where necessary to deliver our service, and under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection safeguards:

• Property portals (PropertyGuru, 99.co, SRX, EdgeProp) — to list your property, with your prior consent.
• Scheduling providers (Calendly) — when you book a consultation.
• Messaging platforms (WhatsApp / Meta) — when you initiate contact via those channels.
• Professional service providers — conveyancing lawyers, valuers and photographers engaged for your transaction.
• Regulators and law enforcement — where required by Singapore law.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. How we protect your data

We take reasonable administrative, physical and technical measures to safeguard your personal data, including access controls, encrypted storage where practical, and limiting access on a need-to-know basis. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. How long we keep your data

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above, or as required by Singapore law (including CEA record-keeping rules, typically 5 years from the end of the transaction). Afterwards, we anonymise or securely dispose of it.

7. Your rights under the PDPA

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct any inaccurate personal data.
• Withdraw consent for our continued use of your data at any time. Note that withdrawal may mean we can no longer provide certain services to you.

8. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses minimal cookies and local storage only for essential functions (e.g., remembering whether you closed a popup, dark-mode preference). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Children's data

Our services are directed at adults aged 21 and above (the minimum age for property transactions in Singapore). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
